Words: Your real worth in life is the worth of your words. Speaker and Consultant Niyi Adesanya said sometimes ago that a lot of people say 'talk is cheap,' he opined that if talk is cheap, then, the person talking must be cheap too. In other sense, talk is not cheap, it simply depends on who is talking and the content therein.

It is a paradox to have so great a weapon as our words and yet live so defensive, and sometimes defenceless in a world with limitless Opportunities.

Most times, when the chips are down, all we have left with us are our words. But the average man, once he's down emotionally, is down vocally. The wisest people put their vocal power on top gear when things are down.

I can say categorically that behind most business failures are vocal/words failure. No matter what business you do in life as long as it is legal, it is with your words that you can create anything timeless, that can even regularly command the attention of 'Time Magazine.'


I don't think there's any institution that teaches you how to use words. The onus is on every person to believe that words carry very potent creative power, learn how to use them, and actually use them.


If there's any one who needs this truth more, it's business people. We are in a world of entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs will remain the major power brokers of the global economy.
