2 Minutes Business Article. Title: Stewardship In Business 2
“The fragrance always stays in the hand that gives the rose.” Hada Bejar
Roses are so powerful, they know who the giver is, and who the receiver is, and then, choose to keep their fragrance in the hands of the giver. The giver may run out of roses, but never out of fragrance, and the fragrance is what attracts.
Businesses that give back whether they are big or small have a way of evolving and surviving hard times.
Some small businesses want to become big before they start giving, so, they never become big. You don’t wait to become big to give, you give to become big.
Some big businesses on the other hand, stop giving once they become big. The more people get the more they want, and the want for more make people become greedy and start holding things. Those who become big and then stop giving usually forget that the same principles that lifts people can bring them down if they stop the practice.
Most times, the very principles that lifts people up are the same principles that sustain them. Attempting to circumvent any of life’s principles is to put the vehicle of one’s life in reverse gear.
Real stewardship is service to humanity, and one of such services is giving. There is no giver like nature; we use herbs for drugs, trees for furniture etc., nature has given us all the raw materials we would ever need in manufacturing what we want. The more we take from them the more they produce.
Life is pay as you go, not pay once and keep going. You pay, then you take. You take, and then pay for another. The law is a life circle.
Action Step: Give according to your size.
