Don't Stare, STIR! 2 (Get Help)

2 Minutes Business Article

Title: Don’t Stare, STIR! 2 (Get Help)

“Life's most persistent and urgent question is, 'What are you doing for others?” ~Martin Luther King Jr

You will definitely attract the help of others, but not until you’re already in motion yourself. Humans' and Heaven helps Only he who has helped himself to the level to which he is capacitated to. At least, you must get started. In fact, help becomes valuable when it is right on time. Too many people lose out on getting the help they need from others in times when it is most needed, because they ask for it too early, at the wrong time.

“When you give help, you get it without asking for it.” ~ Paulvan

Who Needs Help?

Everyone does, including the great. In fact, most times, the great need more help as they are already doing so much for themselves and humanity. I know a lot of people will be of a contrary opinion regarding this school of thought as it is almost generally believed that the less privileged needs more help than anyone. But, let me ask; did you know that too many less privileged people have failed and disappointed themselves and their helpers in life because they got massive help without learning the basic principles of sustainability? We don’t have scarcity of helpers, we simply have scarcity of people who really deserve to be helped. They desire to, but don’t deserve to be helped. There are so many great people around who really desire to help others, but hold back because they’ve been disappointed too many times.

How to Get Help

Give Help: This is very easy; the problem is, too many of us think of ourselves first before others. From our yesterday’s true story, Imagine if that young man had gone to Fela Durotoye with a proposal on how to help him solve some of his problems, participating in one of his big visions like ‘GEMSTONE’(Vision 2025) etc.? Mr Fela would probably have given him an Immediate appointment, and becoming a protégé would have been automatic.
In life, we most certainly get back what we give, but in bigger measures.

Action Step: Look for one problem to solve for the mentor you want to meet.
